Lubrizol to discuss UV-cured coatings and applications at International Woodcoatings Congress

The Lubrizol Corporation will participate at the PRA (Paint Research Association) 8th International Woodcoatings Congress in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, October 30 - 31, 2012 at the Mercure Hotel. The biennial event attracts professionals from the global wood coating industry and serves as a forum for the exchange of ideas and information regarding new technical developments in coatings for interior and exterior wood applications. As a leading supplier to the industry, Lubrizol is also a major sponsor of the congress.

Ralf Eberhards, technical marketing manager, Lubrizol Performance Coatings, will present a paper titled "High-efficiency, Soft-feel Matting Agent Replaces Silica and Waxes in UV Coatings.” Eberhards will discuss new technology developed by Lubrizol that offers manufacturers the possibility of formulating versatile UV cured coatings for many fields of application.
