Sico’s architectural paint revenues increased five percent due to the larger proportion of national brand products in the sales mix, combined with solid productivity from the manufacturing and distribution operations. The company also reported growth of national brand paints in the retail market, but the company reported a decline in the private label segment because of certain major retail customers’ inventory adjustments.
