HunterLab announced that its
EasyMatch Coatings color formulation
software for industrial paint can now
provide shot data for dispensing systems.
The fractional shot can be
1/12th, 1/24th, 1/48th, 1/96th or any
other user specified fraction. Volume
data is displayed and the system also
outputs in terms of weight.
The system is used to easily and
quickly formulate new colors, predict
color adjustments to existing formulas
and to work off waste, according to the
company. It is also a powerful quality
control tool, for tasks like strength
determination of raw materials, opacity
measurement and pass/fail determination
of final product, according to the
company, and can be used with any of
HunterLab’s full range of reflectance
spectrophotometers.
