Patent No. U.S. 6,455,110 B1
General Electric Company has obtained a patent for a method to paint a non-conductive polymer article. It is comprised of disposing a conductive layer adjacent to at least a portion of a second surface of the article so as to provide sufficient conductivity to enable electrostatic painting on the first surface of the article. The conductive layer will have a thickness of approximately 300 microns to five microns, wherein the non-conductive polymer article comprises a compatibilized poly(arylene ether)/polyamide composition and electrostatically painting the first surface.
