H.B. Fuller Reports Fourth
Quarter and 2002 Results
● H.B. Fuller Company reported sales and net income for the
fourth quarter 2002, ended Nov. 30. Net revenue for the
fourth quarter was $329.9 million, up 2.1% over the same
quarter of 2001. The global adhesives segment experienced
a 2.4% increase in revenue for the fourth quarter
over the same period in the previous year. The Full-
Valu/Specialty group’s net revenue increased 1.4% over
the fourth quarter of 2001.
Operating income in the global adhesives unit for the
fourth quarter was reported at $19.4 million, an
increase of $4.8 million over the fourth quarter 2001.
The Full-Valu/Specialty group reported operating
income of $9.2 million, a $3.1 million drop compared to
the same quarter in 2001.
For the full year, the global adhesives segment reported
total operating income of $58.1 million, up $2.6 million
from 2001. The Full-Valu/Specialty group reported operating
income of $30.1 million, a $4.1 million decrease compared
to 2001 results.
H.B. Fuller Company reported total 2002 fiscal sales of
$1.256 billion. ●
