l Kusumgar, Nerlfi and Growney has completed its multiclient study, The U.S. Paint and Coatings Industry, 2001-2006. The report is the firm’s second analysis of the industry.
According to the study, U.S. coating consumption in 2001 was 8.3 billion pounds of solids worth $18.4 billion. A 2% annual rate of increase is forecasted through 2006 when volume is projected to reach 9.1 billion pounds valued at $20 billion.
