Degussa AG has received a patent for urethane (meth)acrylates, useful for radiation-curable transparent or pigmented coatings, especially powder coatings. They are comprised of a continuous solvent-free process using extruder, intensive kneader, intensive mixer or static mixer without (partial) polymerization of methyl methacrylate double bonds by reacting polymers with OH groups, di and/or poly isocyanates and polymerizable compound with free OH groups and polymerizable (meth)acrylate group under specified conditions.
