Ecosynthetix Inc., has been granted a patent for a coating composition comprised of a pigment and a starch dispersion of discrete crosslinked native starch particles in an aqueous liquid. The particle size of the starch particles in the starch dispersion ranges from 200 nm to 100 µm.
