Jotun Yemen Paints, a joint venture between Jotun Paints and Hayel Saeed Anam & Co, have opened their new paint factory in Al Alam, Aden, Yemen.
The 17,000 sqm factory, which cost more than $3 million to build, has the capacity to produce an annual supply of five million liters of paints and coatings per shift. The new factory includes an advanced system to enable the recycling of all water to minimize waste. In addition, the air in the factory will be filtered and any dust generated by the manufacturing process will be collected and reused.
