Patent No. U.S. 7,045,007 B2 Engelhard Corp. has received a patent for an effect pigment comprising metal oxide-coated laminar platelets in which the platelets are a mixture of about five to 90% platy glass and 90-5% platy mica and in which the effect pigment exhibits visual homogeneity.
