GE – Advanced Materials, Silicones has introduced Silblock, WSR masonry water repellent, a silicone-based emulsion that combines water resistance and oil resistance properties in a single additive for formulated coatings that will be used to treat masonry construction materials. Silblock WSR can be used on a variety of applications including concrete, building restorations, bridge decking, patios and sidewalks, roofing tiles and interior counter tops. The material helps to reduce efflorescence and to improve freeze thaw resistance. More info: GE – Advanced Materials, (607) 786-8131, (800) 295-2392; Web: www.ge.com/silicones.
