Tego has introduced two new resins for colorant concentrates that are compatible in a broad variety of resins systems. Synthetic Resin TC is a ketone-aldehyde condensation resin that serves as a carrier resin for pigment concentrates with universal solubility. It offers compatibility, good pigment-wetting properties and high pigment loading that results in lower dispersions viscosities. Pigment concentrates formulated with these resins result in high color strength and are used in a wide variety of coatings applications. Synthetic Resin TC is an effective co-resin to improve hardness, gloss and adhesion. It increases the solids content in wood and metal coatings, paint lacquers and adhesives. Synthetic Resin EP-UA is an urea-aldehyde resin with wide compatibility and solubility in organic solvents. It can be used as a grinding resin to prepare pigment concentrates for industrial coatings and to disperse organic and inorganic pigments as well as carbon black pigments.
