Tego offers Airex deaerator
for water-based coatings
Tego coating additives and specialty resins has introduced Tego Airex 904 W, a new deaerator designed to eliminate micro-foam in clear and pigmented wood, architectural and industrial water-based coatings. It combines good compatibility with increased effectiveness for use in acrylic, styrene acrylic, vinyl and EVA emulsions, polyurethane dispersions, and acrylic-urethane hybrid systems. Airex 904 W prevents the development of micro-foam in airless and air-assisted airless spray applications with minimal risk of surface defects. Pigmented coatings based on water-based two-pack polyurethane can be applied micro-foam-free using Airex 904 W. End uses include wood furniture, parking garages and flexible formulations for athletic surfaces. More info: Tego, (800) 446-1809; Web: www.evonik.com.
