Valspar Sourcing, Inc. has re­ceived a patent for a coated substrate article comprised of a substrate coated with a coating composition, wherein the coating composition is comprised of a binder that includes a cycloaliphatic group and is comprised of a polyester resin having a number average molecular weight from approximately 1,000 to 40,000, the binder is comprised of less than 40% weight aromatic group containing compound, and a pigment, wherein the weight ratio of pigment to binder is greater than 0.9:1, and wherein the binder, when blended with rutile TiO2 at a solids loading of 50% weight and coated to a dried film thickness of 0.00254 cm, exhibits a Y-value of at least 85.5.
