Evonik Stockhausen, Inc. has obtained a patent for a coated substrate comprised of a substrate material, an aqueous superabsorbent polymer paste comprised of a blend of from approximately 1-5% weight of superabsorbent polymer particles having a particle size distribution in the range of greater 150 microns to smaller than 850 microns, and from 95-99% weight of an aqueous water-soluble polymer solution comprised of from 0.5-5% solid level characterized in that the viscosity of the aqueous superabsorbent polymer paste will be from 1000 mPa·s and to approximately 35,000 mPa·s.
