Valspar Sourcing, Inc. has obtained a patent for a polyester gelcoat composition comprised of a sprayable mixture of an unsaturated polyester resin; reactive diluents the majority by weight of which contains a mixture of para-tertiary-butylstyrene and one or more additional non-hazardous air pollutant solvents; and one or more additives comprised of an inhibitor, suppressant, surface tension agent, thixotropic agent, filler, extender, promoter, copromoter, air release agent, initiator, catalyst or pigment, wherein the gelcoat composition is suitable for the spray up manufacture of gelcoat coatings and gelcoat articles, and is curable at a temperature of 0 to 30° C.
