Heubach patents rutile-based pigment

Patent No. U.S. 7,824,487 B2
Heubach GmbH has received a patent for pigment particles consisting essentially of uncoated inorganic nickel- antimony rutile yellow having a color saturation c* of 52 to 55 at a color hue angle h of 96° to 98° according to testing under DIN 5033, and a particle size distribution with a diameter range between 50 and 1000 nm, which in case of a mono-, bi-, tri- or oligomodal maxima distribution has a maximum between 230 and 430 nm, and a secondary maximum of less than 25% of the primary maximum in a diameter range between 400 and 1000 nm in case ofbi- or oligomodal distribution.
