Celeritas Chemicals has introduced three new high-performance grades of organophilic clays specifically designed for the paint and coatings industry. CELCHEM 31743-09, 31744-09 and 31745-09 are organoclays for solvent-based systems of low to medium polarity. According to the company, they offer the following advantages for paint and coatings formulators: high gelling efficiency over low to medium polarity organic liquids,easy incorporation and consistent in rheology and thixotropy development and excellent sag resistance.
