This latest issue of Coatings World is our American Coatings Show (ACS) and Conference issue. This issue, which is one of our largest, covers a lot of ground.
The top ten coatings companies saw sales of $64.6 billion in 2015, prepresting half of the global market. Our CEO Forum offers insight from the top players such as PPG, AkzoNobel, Axalta and BASF as to how they have been able to achieve success. However this year we decided to also interview CEOs of smaller niche companies to gain insight into how these smaller companies can survive and thrive in this highly competetive market.
This month’s International Reports columns offer coverage of Europe, Latin America, Africa and China.
We have worked hard to provide our readers with a comprehensive look at the ACS and all it has to offer. Our ACS Show Preview (p. 102), Exhibitor Spotlight (p. 110) and Guide to Indianapolis (p.104) will provide attendees with all the information they need to make the most out of their time in Indianapolis.
According to statistics from show organizers Vincentz Network and the American Coatings Association (ACA), ACS 2014 had more than 8,700 industry attendees from 69 countries. Expectations for ACS 2016 are that it will break records for both attendance and exhibitor space.
Coatings World, as we have done since the inception of the ACS, will be both exhibiting and reporting live from the show floor. If you plan on attending the ACS please be sure to stop by our booth.
For those that will not be able to make it to Indianapolis, Coatings World will be sending out daily email blasts Live From the Show. Be sure to go to our website, www.coatingsworld.com to sign up for these daily email updates.
