NACE to Hold CORROSION 2017 Conference & Expo

NACE is holding its annual CORROSION Conference and Expo March 26-30 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. CORROSION is the world’s largest corrosion conference and will attract more than 6,000 corrosion engineers, scientists, researchers, technicians, asset owners, inspectors and other professionals from over 60 countries across the world. This comprehensive conference features technical education and knowledge exchange plus opportunities to connect with industry experts and peers focused on the prevention and mitigation of corrosion worldwide.

Featured Events at this year’s conference include:

• Frank Newman Speller Award Lecture - The Speller Award Lecture recognizes contributions to the practice of corrosion engineering.

•  Keynote Session: Frank Abagnale will be the featured keynote speaker at CORROSION 2017 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Abagnale is a renowned cybersecurity and fraud prevention expert, bestselling author, and subject of the book and film Catch Me If You Can.

• Willis Rodney Whitney Award Lecture: The Whitney Award recognizes public contributions to the science of corrosion.

• Plenary Lecture - “Pipeline Coating & Cathodic Protection: Then and Now” presented by David H. Kroon of Aegion Corporation. The last 50 years have brought tremendous changes in protective coatings and cathodic protection technologies for external corrosion protection of pipelines.

CORROSION 2018 will be held April 15-19 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
