PPG announced that the TIKKURILA by PPG brand partnered with Happy Home Interiors in Kazakhstan to introduce a mobile color studio (MCS) that allows professional customers to select tints at their own location rather than at a paint store.
The MCS includes a complete set of tinting equipment, allowing customers to tint samples and carry out trial painting on site. They also can consult with a Tikkurila by PPG brand expert and place orders. The MCS can accommodate up to 40 site visits per week.
“The idea to have a mobile color studio came as a result of the pandemic,” said Aleksandr Kalimulin, paints director, Happy Home Interiors. “We were concerned that changes to the work schedules of stores and trade centers could constrain interaction with customers and designers. We have received positive feedback, and we are happy to have succeeded in launching the mobile color studio for our customers.”
The Tikkurila by PPG retail network includes more than 140 locations in Russia and Central Asia, including both company-owned stores and those operated with partners.
“We collaborate actively with our partners to improve the quality of service, and the MSC is a great example of that,” said Ekaterina Balon, Tikkurila marketing director, Russia, Central Asia and China. “It demonstrates that we are always ready to accept innovative ideas to satisfy growing market demand.”
