Axalta Coating Systems recently announced that Mazda Europe has renewed its approval of Axalta’s three global refinish brands – Cromax, Spies Hecker and Standox. The agreement, which is valid for another two years, confirms Axalta as an authorized paint supplier to Mazda dealerships and bodyshops across Europe. Jürgen Knorr, director, key accounts, Refinish Systems for Axalta in Europe, Middle East and Africa, said, “We are delighted that Mazda has decided to continue our relationship as our customer and has approved our three global refinish brands. Under the terms of the agreement we will supply Mazda dealerships and bodyshops with reliable, highly-efficient and top-quality refinish paint systems, and will also offer our color expertise and dedicated training. Also, consulting services will be made available to support the development and growth of bodyshops.” Axalta Coating Systems is a leading global provider of liquid and powder coatings to automotive, transportation, general industrial, and architectural and decorative customers. Doing business in more than 130 countries, Axalta operates 35 manufacturing centers, seven R&D facilities and 42 customer training centers.
