Behr Paint Company announces its 2026 Commercial Color Forecast, a curated collection of colors rooted in elemental harmony—a thoughtful approach to color that balances natural elements, nostalgic touches, and technology influences. Designers and industry professionals will have a first look at the 2026 Commercial Color Forecast at NeoCon starting June 9 through June 11, 2025 in Chicago. “We see an increased desire for environments that honor traditional color sensibilities while embracing contemporary digital aesthetics,” says Erika Woelfel, VP of color & creative services at Behr Paint Company. “The 2026 Commercial Color Forecast is a collection for commercial interiors that feels authentic, balanced, and connected to both our heritage and future.” The 2026 Commercial Color Forecast consists of five subpalettes that can be used interchangeably in a range of diverse commercial settings such as workplaces, healthcare facilities, retail spaces, hospitality venues, and more. • EVOLVEDNeutrals: Designed to be a foundational element, these dynamic neutrals range from “pure” to “toned” to anchor spaces that exude balance and harmony. • SOULScape: Inspired by the Mediterranean, these soulful and moody hues create an inviting space with a warm, coastal feel. • MYSTICWave: Drawing off the tranquil nature of aquatic hues, these colors promote well-being and comfort within a space. • METROChic: A selection of colors that combine Parisian charm with New York City’s energy that can add both classic elegance and a refined, modern flair to interiors. • FUSIONDream: Featuring a blend of frosted pastels and edgy bright tones, these hues create a balanced yet visually striking aesthetic. Behr partnered with its inaugural Designer Council for expert insights that helped inform the selection of colors in the 2026 Commercial Color Forecast. The Council includes eight visionary designers whose expertise spans across several markets. “We’re thrilled to collaborate with this talented group of designers to gain deeper insights into how we can better support and engage the design community,” says Andy Lopez, SVP, head of marketing at Behr Paint. “This invaluable partnership will help accelerate initiatives to offer the right colors, services, and tools needed to empower designers and elevate the outcomes of their projects.” This strategic collaboration with designers positions Behr to not only respond to current design trends but to anticipate future needs—strengthening its role as an essential resource for designers across segments. The council includes: • Alena Capra: Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer, TV host, and the owner of the award-winning design firm, Alena Capra Designs, with over 20 years of experience as an interior designer. • Patti Carpenter: A Global Trend Ambassador and Principal of carpenter + company, Patti is an award-winning designer and trend specialist in globally sourced home décor and accessories. • Stephanie Lindsey: Principal and Co-Founder of Etch Design Group in Austin, Texas, with decades of experience in residential and commercial interiors. • John McClain: CEO and Creative Director of John McClain Design and creator of The McClain Method, John is an award-winning designer, business coach, podcast host, and author helping creatives thrive. • Mia Johnson: An accomplished interior designer and founder of Mia Johnson Interior Design, known for creating elegant, functional spaces with over 15 years of experience in luxury residential design. • Manuella Moreira: Award-winning interior designer and host of Design Unscripted podcast, known for her acclaimed work and full-service studio creating elevated homes across the U.S. • Christopher Kennedy: An interior designer, product developer, author, and philanthropist known for blending jet set nostalgia with California modernism. • Jennifer Sun: An interior designer at Ware Malcomb, a top architecture firm. The 2026 Commercial Color Forecast is available in all of Behr’s top-rated products—including BEHR ULTRA Interior & Exterior Paint and BEHR PREMIUM PLUS Interior & Exterior Paint—exclusively at The Home Depot stores nationwide and online.
