ACA issues a call for papers

The American Coatings Association (ACA), in partnership with Vincentz Network (VN), is pleased to announce the official Call for Papers for oral presentations at the 2026 American Coatings Conference (ACC). ACA and VN are seeking abstract submissions for research and technology to be presented at this premier technical event for the coatings industry, from May 5–7, 2026, taking place concurrently with the American Coatings Show (ACS) at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Ind.With a focus on scientific advancements and innovative technologies, the 2026 ACC will serve as a dynamic platform for researchers, scientists, and industry experts from around the world to present original, high-level technical research that addresses the evolving needs of the global coatings community.Submissions are invited for previously unpublished, original research abstracts in all areas of coatings technology. Submissions should focus on new ideas, innovation, and their potential contributions and technical value for the industry. All abstracts will be reviewed by the conference program committee. Abstract submissions will be accepted through the online portal through October 2, 2025.

All accepted presenters must register and attend the conference to be included in the final program. Oral presentations will be allocated 25 minutes, followed by a 5-minute Q&A.All abstracts should be submitted by October 2, 2025, via: https://app.oxfordabstracts.com/stages/78747/submitter. Accepted student abstracts will qualify for travel support and the opportunity to present at dedicated poster sessions, which are designed to foster networking and interactive discussions. A separate call for student papers will be released at a later date. American Coatings Award The best paper at the ACC will be awarded the prestigious American Coatings Award, sponsored by ACA and VN.
