The Canadian Coatings Association (CCA), formerly the Canadian Paint and Coatings Association, has unveiled a bold new brand identity that signals its evolution, ambition, and future-forward vision. Representing Canada’s Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, and Elastomers (CASE) industry since 1913, kcontinues to lead in advocacy, policy, and regulatory expertise.

The rebrand marks a strategic transformation aimed at strengthening CCA’s leadership position in a rapidly evolving industry. CCA’s renewed brand simplifies its messaging, elevates its visual identity, and centers innovation and sustainability at the core of its public presence.

A Brand Aligned with a Bold Vision

It’s more than a new look—it reflects a clear strategic intent. The new logo unites CCA’s two flagship initiatives: The Canada CoatingsHUB and the forthcoming Coatings Academy. Together, these service pillars support knowledge-sharing, workforce development, and sector-wide innovation. The updated branding is clean, dynamic, and reflects the science-driven ethos of the CASE industry and its deep connection to the circular economy.

“Our objective with this rebrand was to amplify our voice, clarify our mission, and reflect the scale and sophistication of the industry we represent,” said Melanie Di Tullio, CCA’s Director of Graphic Design & Digital Communications. “We wanted a visual identity that reflects the collaborative, science-driven, and innovation-led character of the CASE industry — and we believe we’ve achieved that.”

Positioned for the Future

The rebrand coincides with the appointment of CCA’s new President and CEO, Dave Carey, ushering in a new era of leadership and renewed commitment to sector growth. Under this new identity, CCA aims to foster a strong, vibrant, and sustainable coatings industry in Canada—one that is anchored in evidence-based policy, scientific integrity and economic responsibility.

CCA remains committed to championing evidence-based policy and advocating for a balanced regulatory environment—supporting businesses of all sizes as they shape the future of coatings in Canada.
