Sherwin-Williams develops exterior paint colors for window and door manufacturer.

Simonton Windows, one of the nation’s leading vinyl window and patio door manufacturers, has worked with Sherwin-Williams to create exterior paint colors that match the Decorum by Simonton product line. The paints, which are intended for use on siding, shutters, trim and other exterior finishes, complement Simonton’s line of exterior colored window and door frames that include Brick, Chocolate, Bronze, Cream, Driftwood, Pine and Tan. “We received so many consumer requests for recommendations on exterior surface paint that would match our Decorum exteriors that we approached Sherwin-Williams to develop this new line,” said Joshua Wagner, product manager for Simonton Windows. “Homeowners are embracing colors these days and we anticipate the new exterior paint colors will be extremely popular when combined with the Decorum by Simonton products.” To locate the color matches, homeowners visiting their Sherwin-Williams store should reference “store 1383” to request the correct colors. This will give them access to the exact formulations that match the colors in the Decorum by Simonton collection of products. Introduced earlier in 2010 to the Decorum by Simonton line, the exterior frame colors can be combined with interior laminates and hardware finishes in the Decorum by Simonton line to create a stylish, personalized look, both inside and outside the home. Homeowners can combine any of the exterior colors with White, Tan, and rich, authentic Antique Cherry, Maple and Contemporary Oak woodgrain interior options. Premium hardware finishes in the Decorum line, including Brushed Nickel, Oil-rubbed Bronze, Polished Brass, Dark Bronze, White, Driftwood and Tan, can be selected to complement and create a customized look.
