Dunn-Edwards Corporation has announced its 2026 Color Trends, a collection of nine trending colors and eight notable neutrals. Inspired by hues found in nature, this collection balances warm and cool tones to create a sense of harmony in any space.
From unhurried sunrises to spending time with loved ones, these intangible moments of quiet joy are embodied through soft blues, earthy greens, and balanced purples – all colors easily found in a thriving botanical garden.
Each year, Dunn-Edwards color experts conduct an in-depth exploration of emerging trends in home furnishings and interior design to determine Color Trends. This year, they found a growing desire for warmer, more grounded hues as we continue to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of AI and technological advancements.
In turn, we’ll see bold, high-contrast hues give way to softer, more nuanced color palettes in 2026.
Drawing inspiration from these insights, this collection came to life with key colors such as Country Air (DET581), Gothic Revival Green (DET507), and Purple Prose (DET405) – all evoking a sense of playful sophistication with a timeless, vintage feel that allows for peaceful moments and creative expression.
“Historically, Dunn-Edwards has released an expansive palette for its annual Color Trends. Neutrals in the palette include Fleur de Sel (DEGR55), Outer Boundary (DE6021), and the designer favorite, Milk Glass (DEW358).
