EPS – Engineered Polymer Solutions launched PC-Mull 815, a biobased acrylic copolymer for high-performance furniture and wood finishes, available in the EMEIA markets. “When formulating with PC-Mull 815, manufacturers can achieve exceptional transparency, hardness, leveling, chemical and block resistance,” said Massimo Longoni, senior sales manager for EPS Europe. “This polymer has a calculated biobased content up to 15%, and extensive research went into ensuring a performance comparable to that of 100% fossil-based products.” PC-Mull 815 is ideal for use as a topcoat and self-sealer resin in high-end interior wood 1K applications. This bio-based polymer is designed to meet high chemical resistance requirements and provide block resistance, ensuring there is not risk of damage to coated substrates when stacked. EPS Europe was recently awarded a gold medal from EcoVadis.
