Oxfordshire-based Hardide Coatings Ltd has demonstrated its continued commitment to quality, achieving Nadcap Gold Merit status after its recent audit, joining a select number of organizations to be awarded this highest accreditation. The aim of the Nadca® program is to assess process capability for compliance to industry standards and customer requirements. Hardide Coatings has held Nadcap accreditation for coatings since 2017 and achieved Silver Merit status in 2019. Philip Kirkham, CEO of Hardide Coatings said: “The move to our new, larger and purpose-built UK site together with our investment in equipment and people has helped us achieve this top Nadcap status. To gain Gold Merit status, we have had to meet a long list of eligibility criteria over multiple years of audits and continually process our customers parts to the most exacting of standards. As we grow our business in the aerospace and defence sectors, Gold accreditation will help to differentiate us and add to our customers’ confidence in us as a partner and supplier.” Jay Solomond, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Performance Review Institute, said: “The Nadcap audit provides a snapshot of how an organisation performed at a precise moment in time, and auditees can prepare for this in advance. But to develop and continuously maintain a compliance culture requires an ongoing effort, and a change of mindset – it is not an easy thing to do. I am delighted, therefore, to congratulate Hardide Coatings Ltd for achieving Nadcap Gold Merit status, and for getting the recognition they deserve.” Hardide Coatings will be exhibiting at Farnborough Airshow from July 18-22 2022 alongside Midlands Aerospace Alliance in Hall 1, stand 1320.
