IFS Coatings launched IFS PureFlex FBE, a Fusion Bonded Epoxy powder coating for rebar. IFS PureFlex FBE is a flexible, corrosion resistant, quick-cure, single coat, thermosetting powder coating which delivers the very best in protection to rebar. IFS PureFlex FBE has achieved third party certification and has been tested to meet and exceed ASTM 775 and ASTM 1078 as well as AASHTO M284 and AASHTO M254. “As members of CRSI and Epoxy interest group we are proud to introduce IFS PureFlex FBE to our customers. It’s a hard-working fusion bonded epoxy powder that is extremely reactive and cures quickly to form a uniform, consistent film that provides incredible levels of protection to rebar products,” said President Glynn Mason. “Careful R&D development has ensured IFS PureFlex FBE delivers excellent corrosion resistance, flexibility, adhesion, durability and chemical resistance as well as being economical and easy for coaters to apply.”
