Lomon Billions will promote its titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigments for coatings and inks at stand 160 during ABRAFATI 2019, which takes place Oct. 1-3 in Brazil. “Although we’ve attended ABRAFATI before, it’s the first time we’ve had our own exhibition stand at the show,” said Julie Reid, marketing director. The Chinese company manufactures high-performance sulfate and chloride TiO2 pigments for all major applications. “LOMON and BILLIONS TiO2 pigments are global brands, approved and used by leading global coatings and inks producers,” Reid said. “One of our best-selling TiO2 pigments for coatings is LOMON R-996 pigment. It’s an excellent all-rounder for interior and exterior coatings, trusted by coatings formulators worldwide. “We’ll also be promoting our world-class specialist BILLIONS TR52 pigment for printing inks, and our latest innovation, BILLIONS BLR-895 pigment, our durable TiO2 pigment for coatings, made by the chloride process. “BILLIONS BLR-895 pigment has excellent dispersion, opacity, and gloss, and delivers brilliant whiteness with a clean blue tone making it suitable for an extensive range of architectural and industrial coatings. Our tests show that BLR-895 pigment can deliver a brighter bluer white when compared with several competitive chloride TiO2 pigments including internationally recognized brands, and thanks to its inorganic surface coating it has outstanding dispersion performance.”
