The Metro New York Printing Ink Association (MNYPIA) announces that its October meeting will be a tribute to Jeffrey Shaw of Sun Chemical, who has been named the 22nd recipient of the club’s Anthony Mauriello award.
Jeff, a seasoned executive with more than three decades of experience in supply chain management across various industries and global companies, currently serves as the vice president and chief supply chain officer at Sun Chemical in Parsippany, NJ.
Jeff has been a vital part of Sun Chemical for more than 15 years, overseeing the global supply chain, including demand forecasting, supply planning, replenishment, inventory management, procurement, logistics, customs compliance, and customer service.
His journey at Sun Chemical began in May 2010 as VP supply chain. By August 2013, he joined the senior leadership team as VP supply chain, quality, and business improvement. Following the retirement of Ed Pruitt in December 2015, Jeffrey took on the role of chief procurement officer, where he currently serves as Sun’s chief supply chain officer.
A key aspect of Jeff’s role involves working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics providers to ensure consistent customer service. His goal is to minimize disruptions caused by today’s numerous supply chain challenges, ensuring seamless operations for Sun Chemical’s customers and manufacturing sites.
In addition to his responsibilities at Sun Chemical, Jeff is an active member of several industry associations, including MNYPIA, NAPIM, and SOCMA. He represents Sun Chemical and the supply chain for the graphic arts, ink, and pigment industries.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, October 16 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Il Villaggio Restaurant and will include an open bar reception and dinner. The cost to attend is $95. Il Villaggio Restaurant is located at 651 NJ Rt 17 North, North Carlstadt, NJ. Phone: 201-935-7733.
Please reserve your spot today in what will be a very special and fun evening. To be included, simply sign up on the club’s website, which is MNYPIA.com.
