Valspar Corp. has appointed Norbert Dentressangle to provide warehousing and distribution to support its expansion in the UK market, in partnership with a major DIY retailer. With more than $4 billion in sales and 10,000 employees in 30 countries, The Valspar Corporation is a global leader in the paint and coatings industry. As part of the continued expansion of its global consumer paint business, the company recently entered into a strategic partnership with a major UK DIY retailer, which will see the retailer offer a full selection of premium Valspar paints in every store. Norbert Dentressangle will be responsible for the warehousing and picking of orders and delivery into the retailer’s regional distribution network, where orders are cross-docked and consolidated with other products for final delivery to store. When completed, the operation will be serving over 350 stores.
