PPG Named by IDG’s Computerworld to 2016 List of 100 Best Places to Work in IT

PPG  announced that IDG’s Computerworld has named it one of the 2016 Best Places to Work in IT – among the top 100 organizations that challenge information technology (IT) employees while providing exceptional benefits and compensation, according to the publication. The complete ranking appears in the current issue of Computerworld, along with results from the 23rd annual Best Places to Work in IT survey.

This is the second time PPG has ranked No. 1 in career development in this annual survey; the first time was in 2014. The publication this year noted PPG’s “culture of innovation,” including the IT organization’s strategic funding program that encourages employees to explore opportunities and to test and develop strategic business solutions. In addition, PPG was recognized for its global mentoring program that connects IT leaders and professionals from across the globe for mutual career enrichment.

The Best Places to Work in IT list is an annual ranking of the top 100 work environments for technology professionals by IDG’s Computerworld. The list is compiled based on a comprehensive questionnaire regarding company offerings in categories such as benefits, career development, training and retention. In addition, Computerworld conducts extensive surveys of IT workers, and their responses factor heavily in determining the rankings.
