PPG announced that it has received the 2019 RESPONSIBLE CARE Chairman’s Award from the Association of International Chemical Manufacturers (AICM) for its implementation of the Responsible Care initiative and commitment to sustainability in China. This is the second year that PPG has been honored with the award.

 

The Responsible Care Chairman’s Award is presented to companies in China’s chemical industry that demonstrate leadership, innovation and achievement in the environment, health and social responsibilities while also bringing benefits to the general public.

 

“We are very honored to receive this prestigious AICM award recognizing our industry leadership and contributions,” said Richard Ren, PPG director, environment, health and safety, Asia Pacific. “As a member of AICM, PPG will continue promoting corporate sustainable development and implementing Responsible Care concepts in China.”
