QCP to be Acquired by GAF

GAF, North America’s largest roofing manufacturer, has agreed to acquire Quest Construction Products (QCP), a division of Quest Specialty Chemicals. The transaction, expected to close as soon as practical subject to customary closing conditions, reflects GAF’s commitment to growth and to maintaining excellent brands in commercial roofing and other markets. The acquisition of QCP – North America’s largest supplier of fluid-applied roofing systems and coating solutions – will allow GAF to offer strategic building owners a broader range of solutions.
