Sartomer Americas, a business unit of Arkema Inc., will showcase several technologies for optimizing energy-curable pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs) for high-end applications at the RadTech UV+EB 2018 Technology Expo and Conference at booth 501:

• CN9071 is a tin-free aliphatic urethane acrylate oligomer that offers high clarity and non-yellowing. Upon crosslinking, it has low Tg, low crosslink density, and high elongation. It provides excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates such as glass, PET, metals, and polypropylene. It is ideal for coatings, inks and electronics applications;
• CN9073 is a resin specially designed for adhesives and PSA applications. This tin-free aliphatic urethane acrylate oligomer enables peel strength on both stainless steel and plastics, as well as excellent shear and good tack. CN9073 has a viscosity of 6650 cP at room temperature, which is lowered significantly with warming. Applications include PSAs, UV-curable PSA syrup, transfer tape, liquid optically clear adhesives, cure-in-place adhesives, laminating adhesives, and peroxide-curable adhesives;
• CN9074 is a low-viscosity resin specially designed for adhesives and PSA applications. When used in PSA applications, this tin-free aliphatic urethane acrylate oligomer offers extremely high peel strength on stainless steel with good tack, without the need for tackifiers. Applications include PSAs, UV-curable PSA syrup, transfer tape, liquid optically clear adhesives, cure-in-place adhesives, laminating adhesives, and peroxide-curable adhesives.
