Chicago is getting ready to welcome metal formers, fabricators, welders and finishers for the 2025 FABTECH Expo, happening Sept. 8-11. Among exhibitors, the Sherwin-Williams General Industrial Coatings division will showcase an expansive portfolio of metal finishing solutions for businesses large and small.

Proven to improve efficiency on manual and automated lines, the Sherwin-Williams portfolio serves as a one-stop shop for all finishing needs. At the show, the company will highlight liquid, powder and e-coat solutions, alongside services designed to simplify processes and speed up operations.

FASTtrack simplifies small-batch ordering, without compromising performance. Pre-matched liquid colors are ready to ship fast, helping teams maintain quality, meet tight timelines and avoid unnecessary downtime.

Powder coatings, always within reach. The nationwide Stock Powder Program gives shops of all sizes fast access to high-demand RAL and architectural-grade powders — minimizing downtime and maximizing throughput.

Manufacturers are constantly being challenged to do more with less. Yet significant opportunities to improve efficiency can be hard to identify. One big and often overlooked area is on the finishing line.

“It’s incredible to see how big of an impact finishing can have on overall operations,” says Josh Reep, USCA Marketing Director at Sherwin-Williams General Industrial. “Simple changes like cutting a bake cycle or improving transfer efficiency can save hours each day — adding up to huge gains in throughput and profit.”

Sherwin-Williams has helped customers of all sizes streamline processes and gain real competitive advantages. From trimming 64 hours of material handling out of one customer’s process, to realizing a 300% throughput increase for another, the Company’s tailored solutions and ongoing technical support deliver value beyond the finishing line.

“Our strategy is centered around the growth of our customers,” continues Reep. “Whether you’re a job shop or a large corporation, come talk to us if you need finishing support. We’ll have experts on-site to answer your questions.”
