Terra Firma, SE Tylose Announce National Distribution Partnership

Terra Firma announced the appointment of SE Tylose as distributor for the Construction and Industrial Specialty markets throughout the continental U.S.
 
SE Tylose is a subsidiary of Shin-Etsu Chemical. 
 
SE Tylose, based in Wiesbaden, Germany, and producing approximately 65,000 tons annually, is one of the largest suppliers of cellulose ether worldwide. 
 
It produces and markets various water-soluble cellulose ethers under the registered trademark Tylose. Its technologies are used in a wide variety of applications, such as construction and coating materials. 
 
Its product portfolio comprises methyl hydroxyethyl cellulose (MHEC), methyl hydroxypropyl cellulose (MHPC) and hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) – along with the starch ether and surfactant additives for dry mortars.
