Troy announces major expansion for Southeast Asia market

Troy Corporation has announced the expansion of its facilities to serve the Asia-Pacific market. Founded in 1950, Troy Corporation has been a dedicated supplier to the Asia-Pacific coatings industry since 1970, and has manufactured products in Asia since 1997.

“Troy is committed to its customers in Asia and has recently made further significant investments in the region, including the expansion of logistics, manufacturing, technical service, and R&D capabilities,” said Daryl Smith, president and CEO of Troy.

Troy recently unveiled a state-of-the-art 1,500 square meters logistics center to service customers in Asia. Troy has also doubled the size of its Thailand manufacturing site, significantly increasing the versatility and capacity of production. In the first quarter of 2013, Troy will inaugurate a new Technical Service and R&D Center located near the Bangkok International Airport.

Troy continues to provide performance products and services that enable the region’s manufacturers to achieve exceptional growth, according to the company. In addition to Polyphase dry-film fungicides and algaecides, which are ideally suited to Asia’s tropical climates, Troy is also introducing ‘green’ wet-state preservatives and performance additives for the region.
