Univar Inc., a global chemical and ingredients distributor and provider of value-added services, and its European operating subsidiaries, will be presenting a diverse selection of coatings products at this year’s European Coatings Show (ECS) in Nuremberg, Germany, from 4-6 April 2017. “With unmatched industry expertise and dedicated facilities, Univar is committed to providing our customers and supplier partners with innovative products and formulations that support their R&D projects and help drive value throughout the entire process — from concept to commercialization — using our wide availability of resources,” said Nilay Midilli, Univar’s Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants and Elastomers (CASE) director for EMEA. Univar staff will be on hand at stand 7A-726, showcasing the latest coatings products and formulations created at our laboratories in the U.K. and Italy. Our technical experts and commercial sales teams will be available during the show to discuss process requirements and formulation challenges with customers, as well as support them with the development of new coating systems. Our CASE experts are focused on providing a variety of value-added services to customers, including: • Analytical and applied research • Chemical and product performance • Support on technical questions Univar will highlight several products from our most recent distribution agreements. As of this year we distribute ANGUS products in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Sweden, Norway, Denmark; Cristal high performance TiONA and TiKON TiO2 products in France, UK and Ireland, Italy, Benelux Slovakia and Czech Republic; Stahl Polymers in UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Poland and CEE; Elitesperse Range highly effective dispersing agent for water-borne paints and coatings besides many other new products from existing and new suppliers. The Univar team will hold live demonstrations on each day of the exhibition at 10:00, 11:00, 14:00 and 15:00, showcasing a variety of new products from leading manufacturers such as Dow Corning, Eternal, Angus, Cabot and more.
