Shamrock Technologies, Inc. has appointed Werner Maenen managing director for Shamrock Technologies, BVBA. His new functions include oversight and management of operations, key functions and business. Shamrock president, Al Pape says “This represents a clear step forward for Shamrock’s business in Europe. We see strong growth opportunities and this structure will allow for more strategic clarity, autonomy and improved service for our European customer base.” Werner said, “With great humility and gratitude, I have taken up this new challenge. Within Shamrock’s global strategy, I’ll be dedicated and determined to facilitate future success by putting trust and confidence in our team of excellent coworkers and providing solutions to our customers by highlighting the unique properties of our products.” Werner has been a part of the Shamrock Technologies BVBA team since 2005 with previous functions as purchasing manager, plant manager, operations manager and operations director. Maenen earned a Masters in Applied Economic Sciences at the University of Hasselt, Belgium. He also completed extensive operations management, HR, economics and coatings courses in his continued education.
