Coatings formulators can now expand their styling color gamut with the introduction of Sun Chemical’s new red shadeQuindo Violet 55 Quinacridone pigment. The intense color of Sun Chemical’s red shade Quindo Violet 55 is 10 units more chromatic than a similar shade Pigment Violet 19 and exhibits high transparency as well as an attractive neutral flop. Compatible in water- and solvent-borne systems, the red shade Quindo Violet 55 offers excellent fastness properties and strong durability and resistance to solvents. “Our customers are looking for pigments that will differentiate them from their competitors and grow their business,” said Scott Heitzman, Global Product Manager of High Performance Pigments, Sun Chemical Performance Pigments. “Our unique red shade Violet 55 is just another example of the differentiation that our customers are looking for.
