Axalta Coating Systems featured new architectural products and presented at FABTECH 2015. The show was held on November 9-12, 2015 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. “We always look forward to attending FABTECH,” expressed Matthew Rush, Northern Region Industrial Sales Manager for Axalta’s powder coating business in North America. “The diversity of companies at this show brings great opportunities to highlight our new products and technologies. This year, we were particularly excited to showcase the new additions to our Alesta AR400 architectural product line.” Axalta highlighted two new offerings to the Alesta architectural color palette, AR400 Anodic Natura and AR400 Arcadia Silver. These offerings extend Axalta’s range of architectural silver metallic powder coatings and offer triglycidyl isocyanurate-free, durable polyesters formulated to provide the versatility of low gloss, bonded metallic silvers for an array of powder coated surfaces. With features designed to garner excellent weatherability, elasticity, and abrasion resistance, these new inclusions are ideal for hand railings, fencing and residential aluminum extrusions. Both formulations are environmentally responsible, due to virtually no volatile organic compounds or targeted hazardous air pollutants. FABTECH is an annual trade show that offers technical and applied technology forums as well as new product innovations and developments. This event gives industry professionals a chance to interact and provides insight and tips to optimize powder coating businesses.
