Chromaflo Technologies, an independent global supplier of pigment and chemical dispersions for the thermoset and coatings industries, will present a broad portfolio for the urethane market at Utech North America, April 6 & 7, 2016. Highlights are as follows:
Black Colorants for Urethanes
Black colorants can exhibit blue shades under various light sources whereas others may exhibit a yellow or brown cast. The hue depends on the grade of carbon black. For this reason, Chromaflo will feature its large array of black colorant dispersions for urethanes to meet application requirements, from the most simple to the most complex. Our products exhibit a broad range of jetness and strength.
More than Just Black
Not all urethane products are black. Many applications require the use of vibrant color to make the product stand out. Chromaflo’s colorants consist of organic and inorganic pigments, finely dispersed and stabilized in resin. Chromaflo can provide a full pallet of urethane colors in a broad range of resin carriers for use in foam, RIM, cast, adhesives, sealants, pultrusion, vinyl and elastomer applications.
Plasticolors DTP Line
Plasticolors DTP colorants for plasticizer containing systems consist of organic and inorganic pigments suspended in DOTP, a non-phthalate plasticizer. Chromaflo Technologies’ DTP colorants have been specifically developed for soft PVC, caulk/sealant, polymer and elastomer applications.
Core Strength
Chromaflo’s core strength is assisting customers in making the right selection to achieve the best balance between cost and performance. Chromaflo’s colorants aren’t just a color, they add functionality. Durability and physical properties can be enhanced.
“As experts in color development and chemical dispersions, Chromaflo Technologies customizes products to fit customers’ unique requirements. Utech is a great platform to meet urethane manufacturers and provide them the solution they need," says Liz Campbell, Director Thermoset Americas.
