As a result of expanding the range of reciprocators, Wagner offers a suitable solution for every application. The coating of complicated parts like, for example, the inner coating of cabinets requires the individual movement of independent guns. Wagner offers different systems, starting with simple linear units up to dynamic 3D coating with Z-axes. These enable efficient coating operations even without purchasing an expensive robot. The vertical moving devices from Wagner make the best coating results possible for automatic applications. Whether long or short strokes, this flexible technology enables each individual motion sequence to be executed with precision. In conjunction with the horizontal sliding table, even more complex motions and components can be coated efficiently and in the best possible way. Intelligent frequency inverters perform position regulation with the highest precision. The compact design also saves a great deal of space. Wagner has now expanded its range of linear motion technology to include the vertical reciprocator VU 2. Just like the alternative reciprocator VU 1, VU 2 is also available in different models: VU 2- 2400 for max. 2400 mm stroke length and VU 2-1800 for max. 1800 mm stroke length. Compatibility with the horizontal sliding table HU 1 is also guaranteed. In addition, the new reciprocator can also be connected to the Wagner control systems ProfiTech M, ProfiTech S, and PrimaTech – CCM. The special feature of the new moving device is the fact that it is intended for use with a maximum of seven powder guns (Wagner PEA-C4 XL) – in contrast to the VU 1 with a maximum of twelve guns. With these two reciprocators, Wagner thus offers an energy-efficient solution for each specific application. The lower weight of the VU 2 facilitates horizontal movement and the transport of the reciprocator. The smaller motor in conjunction with the frequency inverter leads to savings in consumption.
