Valtris Names New East Coast Regional Sales Manager

Valtris Specialty Chemicals names Marisol De Jesus as the new east coast Regional Sales Manager effective March 28, 2016. Marisol brings more than 18 years of sales and marketing experience to the company, 14 of which have been in the specialty chemical industry.

Marisol most recently served as sales & product manager at Continental Industries Group in New York where she oversaw the development of new business, fostered existing client relationships, and managed suppliers that sourced raw material chemicals, chemical additives, and polymer resins for finished chemical client use.

With a distinguished career managing and supervising marketing programs focused on new business development, strategic planning, and account management, Marisol will oversee east coast sales operations for Valtris that covers the majority of the northeast United States. She is also in the process of completing her MBA at Northeastern University.

Marisol replaces Peter Gallagher, a senior member of the Valtris sales team, who is retiring this month after 8 years at the company. Peter was instrumental at growing the east coast regional market and we wish him good health and happiness in the years to come.
