Devine Chemicals Expands its Product Offering to Meet Demand for Environmentally Friendly Chemicals

North East England-based speciality chemicals company, Devine Chemicals Ltd., has expanded its range of metal complex dyes from Taiwanese company, Ming-Zu Chemical Industry Ltd., to meet increasing market demand for environmentally friendly products.

Devine Chemicals promotes, stocks and distributes Ming-Zu’s range of high grade liquid and powder metal complex dyes to manufacturers in building and construction, agrochemicals, plastics, coatings and inks. This mutually beneficial relationship, which began in 1994, also provides Ming-Zu Chemical Industry Ltd. with its only route to the UK market.

Founded in 1990 by Peter Liu, Ming-Zu Chemical Industry Ltd. is a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of high grade metal complex dyes including MECOFAST G Series Metal Complex Dyes – a range of high grade, high quality, environmentally friendly products which meet ever stricter environmental regulations, without compromising on performance.

MECOFAST G Series products are soluble in a wide range of solvents including ethyl alcohol and methyl ethyl ketone (MEK). They also demonstrate high chromaticity and high transparency. Additionally they are free of N,N-Dimethyl Formamide (DMF), N,N-Dimethyl Acetamide (DMAC) and Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). Their heavy metal content complies to EN71 part 3 and CONEG Regulations and Primary Aromatic Amine (PAA) content complies to Resolution AP(89)1.

MECOFAST G Series products are suitable for use in a range of applications including: wood staining and coating, especially recommended for solvent-based wood coatings; ink applications, ideal for solvent based printing inks and continuous jet inks, and hot stamping foils.
