Chromaflo Technologies will present a broad product portfolio for the thermoset industry at Feiplar/Feipur, November 8-10, 2016. Products featured will include Plasticolors DTP, Plasticolors GTS, Plasticolors CF and Plasticolors DL products. Along with these products, Chromaflo will highlight the globalization of thermosets paired with reliable technical support. Plasticolors DTP colorants are based in DOTP, a non-phthalate plasticizer. Chromaflo Technologies’ DTP colorants have been specifically developed for use in automated tinting systems either volumetrically or gravimetrically. These colors find application in soft PVC, caulk/sealant, thermoplastic, urethane and elastomer applications. With a colorant file database included, the DTP line offers customers a market-first technology that provides the ability to minimize colorant inventory and the autonomy to easily match custom colors. Plasticolors GTS polyester colorant line is the one of the latest technology innovations from Chromaflo Technologies. Designed for volumetric and gravimetric dispensing, these highly controlled mass tones allow for batch consistency and automated in-plant tinting operations. This allows the end user to effectively create new custom colors on demand for nearly all polyester and vinyl ester applications, including SMC, BMC, pultrusion, and gel coats. Plasticolors CF colorants have become the polyester industry standard and serves as one of the most efficient colorants in the market. Based in a monomer free, unsaturated polyester resin, CF colorants offers a broad color selection based on many different pigment chemistries to satisfy individual needs. Chromaflo’s core strength is assisting customers in making the right selection to achieve the best balance between cost and performance. Plasticolors DL Colorants have been designed to provide an effective way to tint a broad range of polyurethane systems, particular in RIM, foam, spray elastomers, and shoe sole applications. These products are dispersed in a polyether polyol to maximize compatibility and produce a color system designed to provide excellent color performance in tinting or full pigmentation systems. These colorants and are low in viscosity making them suitable for third-stream operations.
