Axalta Coating Systems has announced that Mike Withers, responsible for Axalta’s architectural powder coatings in North America, will lead a technical session at the Fabtech 2016 tradeshow. Fabtech 2016, held November 16-18, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, is consistently one of the largest tradeshows in the powder coatings industry and attended by thousands of powder coating industry professionals.
Along with Greg Dawson, Nordson Corporation, and John Sudges, Midwest Finishing Systems Inc., Withers will present a technical session titled, The Basics of a Successful Powder Coating Operation in room N213-N214, at 10:30 a.m. on November 16. The session will explain the components needed to make a well-designed, high performing powder coating system from pretreatment and powder material selection to powder application, recovery and curing, and will instruct attendees on how to make the best system choices to meet their powder coating needs.
“I am honored to present at one of the powder coating industry’s largest tradeshows,” said Withers. “The ability to share my insight and knowledge with others in the industry is not only valuable to attendees, but also provides Axalta with the opportunity to receive important feedback. Each year professionals look forward to Fabtech for the chance to connect with peers and to work together to understand and learn the various approaches and solutions in the powder coating field.”
Fabtech is an annual event that provides those in the power coating industry with technical and applied technology forums, as well as new product innovations and developments. The event also provides insight into improvements and tips that can be used to optimize powder coating businesses. This year, Axalta will exhibit at booth #C48019.
